In July (2022) IPROEB in collaboration with the company Life Cycle Engineering Italy completed the life cycle assessment project (LCA study "Life Cycle Assessment") for certain products manufactured according to the main normative guidelines ISO 14040:2021 and ISO 14044: 2021. The study evaluated the specific environmental emissions, impact factors and indicators, which are periodically updated. The environmental impact has been assessed in accordance with the EN 15804 + A2:2019 standard.

As part of the EPDItaly operator program, IPROEB has obtained Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for ACSR medium-voltage electric cables and conductors, in accordance with the international standards ISO 14025 and EN 50693. The declarations have been validated by the third-party certification body party ICMQ S.p.A. Italy, ensuring data quality and reliability.

The EN 50693 standard provides specifications about the specific sector of electrical and electronic products and specifies the rules for defining the product category for their life cycle analysis.

The environmental declarations are published within the EPD Italy operator program by the ICMQ Italia body.
